Use the A-number to find the right iPad
On the back of most iPads there is a model number beginning with the letter A, such as A2197. You can now search this number on our iPad repair page to find the matching iPad model without needing to know the exact generation name.
Common iPad repairs
- Cracked glass or damaged LCD/display.
- Charging port faults where the cable feels loose or only charges at an angle.
- Battery drain or unexpected shutdowns.
- Button, camera, speaker or microphone faults.
- Housing damage after a drop.
When to repair rather than replace
iPads are often worth repairing when the main board is healthy, the device still powers on, and the issue is limited to the screen, battery or charging port. If the iPad is used for school, work or a child’s device, repair can be a cost-effective way to extend its life.
